I’m Fayza Ahmed – a mother, maker, and lover of all things handmade.
Originally from Ethiopia and now based in South Africa, my journey into the world of crafting began as a path of healing and has grown into a thriving creative business. What started as a hobby during a challenging chapter of my life turned into a heartfelt passion for beading, epoxy resin art, and handmade design.
At the heart of my work is a deep respect for creativity, culture, and craftsmanship. Each piece I create – whether it’s jewelry, beaded purse, polymer clay earrings home décor, or custom resin art – is made with care, quality, and a touch of personal story. We’re proud to have showcased our work at the Johannesburg Artist Workshop and during SA Heritage Day at the University of Johannesburg—where tradition met innovation, and our crafts found their voice.
Our name, “Laliiti”, comes from Afan Oromo Qubee, meaning “to see and to make.” It’s more than just a name—it’s our mission: to see the beauty in everyday life and to make something extraordinary out of it.
But we don’t stop at creating. We believe in empowering others to create too.
Through our interactive workshops and one-on-one coaching, we help beginner artists unlock their potential, refine their skills, and step confidently into the world of professional craftsmanship.
